Cleaned up the rear shocks and got some new stickers on them. The finish on the foxes sucks. Ended sanding them down and painting.

Upgraded the radio this weekend. Went from a TYT-9800 to the ICOM 2730.

CAD and a 3D printer.

Best answer I have. Prototyped it and then made some small adjustments for the final fit.

The replacements;


Carefully cut off the old clips, and transferred them to the new SS lines vs zip tied, as well as added the original gravel & rock guards. Minor surgery needed on the passenger side. Also, goin to replace the breather hose...now just waiting for the Deavers to arrive!

I actually had Fox send me replacement stickers about 2 years ago. They didn’t charge me anything, I just emailed them and they asked for my address. Maybe it’s different now but if you email fox directly they’ll send you free stickers.

Rebuild from Shocks by Hammer.
Set to mid perch.

I’m about 3 months into ownership. 70k miles most likely on original shocks. I could feel the ‘sticktion’ of the shocks especially when starting from a stop. It’s a bit more stiff than I thought they would be over manhole covers and expansion cracks at lower speeds. Did a few miles on some gravlies and can feel the difference.

Added the Builtright Industries cargo panels to the drivers side a while back then happened to get a free high lift jack which made me decide to go ahead with the passengers side!

Found this today after an oil change from the filter drain.

Feel better about buying an extended warranty now.

Any guesses what this could be. Going to get a magnet soon to rule things out.
