Was that a shot at my height?!
Well I guess for the handful of times I go off-roading each year to use the truck the way I’ve prepped it for, I’ll have to run the risk of mud or something packing in my wheels.I used to run the factory beadlocks. What I didn’t like about them was the beauty ring raised lip. Mud would collect there and bake and turn hard like rock. When wheeling for a weekend at an event with no car wash the wheels just kept packing. Now all the wheels are so out of balance the entire truck would shake like crazy. Those wheels besides being a cleaning shore is going to hold mud. Like you said, to each your own but you will see.
I personally liked the Method Trail Series wheels. Even in mud, there is nothing to stay stuck too and easy peasy to clean which isn’t as important as the imbalance of the mud packed wheels.
Today was SVC Bumpstops
SVC told me 65-75psi...I didn't have to lift the box or even remove the tires for what was installed today.
Skipped the axle strike plates for now, deavers are going in next weekend.
Just put a bumper jack on the back and hoisted it up until the rear tires were just off the ground.
Everything went in pretty well, but a 2nd person was needed to get the nuts lined up inside the frame and the bolts started.
Still debating what pressure to run.
Think I read you can go down to about 75 for street use, but cannot seem to find that again now.
Small heads up on the PSV on that reservoir. It does a pretty good job of rust proofing wherever you mount it lol. If that bothers you, you can put a sock over the top to catch it from going further. Idea came from @RDFTS
Na-su! What window vent brand did you go with and why?Today was Tinting the front windows and installing vent visors and giving my baby her first bath.... sat back and looked in amazement at her while smokin a cigar.
I now understand what you guys felt who own a raptor.
Its like having 2 syringes filled with testosterone jabbed into your junk......on prom night
