I avoid mud but with those wheels, I would just turn around and go home. Those have to be a pain to clean, especially if you hit the trails and get into any mud.

I hate cleaning easy to clean wheels. Can’t imagine non-easy to clean lol.

I’ll be honest. I never looked at a set of wheels on this truck and thought to myself “how easy will these be to clean?”

For sure, if you like em go for it. I personally like the red on your truck! I meant I literally hate cleaning wheels and those wheels look more difficult to clean.

Anymore I “try” to keep the truck “clean”. But it leaks sand and mud out of every crevice after a rain. So at this point as long as I can keep the rust at bay and it looks decent from a distance I am good.

Lol, there is a reason I don’t take too many pictures close up.

It’s getting an actual detail and ceramic coat done here soon. It needs it. Waiting till after I get the KHC bumpers on though.

If you clean your wheels are you really using the truck for what it is...a truck?

I try to make sure my maintenance is up to speed, but I don’t care about pinstripes or things “looking good”.

This is just my opinion. I want to keep the SVT Raptor running and in great condition for my son to take over, but I can’t really be bothered with concerning my time on “are my wheels looking clean enough for people that might care?”.

Too busy passing those people with my 6.2L of fury!

Exactly. I take care of things as I need to rust wise, but I use it and maintain it. It spends most of its time dirty. Plenty of pinstriping and dirt and blah blah blah.

It’s getting a detail and ceramic coat done because it was a gift. Too cheap to go out and have someone do it myself. I save that money for extra fun stuff that won’t disappear the first time I hit a trail or a rainstorm.

I used to run the factory beadlocks. What I didn’t like about them was the beauty ring raised lip. Mud would collect there and bake and turn hard like rock. When wheeling for a weekend at an event with no car wash the wheels just kept packing. Now all the wheels are so out of balance the entire truck would shake like crazy. Those wheels besides being a cleaning shore is going to hold mud. Like you said, to each your own but you will see.

I personally liked the Method Trail Series wheels. Even in mud, there is nothing to stay stuck too and easy peasy to clean which isn’t as important as the imbalance of the mud packed wheels.
