Purchased Retrax MX...and researched bed lights...Getting game plan together to show my Rappy some more love! Lol

If you have not decided on a brand of lights, check out Blue Sea LED’s.

I have been pretty happy with mine, been on there since 2018

Thanks!

yes I do. Gets her license in June. She will get to use my Volvo xc 70. She’s very short, so it will be a while before she gets behind the wheel of the Raptor.
Good plan heh, offroad is a great way to learn though! Those seats do go ridiculously close to the dash, pedals adjust...just sayin'. Let us know when you get your hands on it!!

Times a changing, too many hurt feelings now days. The proper term is Fraptor. Nothing wrong with it but it isn’t a Raptor. I personally would of gotten a GEN1 grill instead of the GEN2 look. Bumper doesn’t look to bad though.

Just not enough gen 1's to go around. At least this guy kept the badges off the truck, and cloned the part that makes the Raptor special (suspension and clearance for tires). There is a cat down the road from me with what looks like a stock f150 with SVT badges, grille and vinyl. I wouldn't stand up for him :p. Putting decals and badging on your truck requires no skill. But if you can swap the entire raptor suspension in your F150, do the gen 2 conversion, and do it all yourself you probably have something to contribute to FRF.

I had to watch the coolant temps overnight parked last night in so-cal. I went for a drive at oh dark thirty and went back to sleep, took care of it.

Kind of insane my family in MN saw Tornado weather and I saw snow about 1,000 ft above my level in the So-cal desert.

As for the flush bottle...

  1. When radiator is cool, remove cap, open draincock and drain cooling system. Collect used antifreeze for disposal. When disposing used antifreeze/coolant, please follow local laws and regulations.
  2. Close radiator draincock and fill cooling system with water. Reinstall radiator cap and run engine for 10 minutes with heater on max. Turn off engine for radiator to cool.
  3. Repeat (Step 1).
  4. Close radiator draincock and add BlueDevil RADIATOR FLUSH. Top off cooling system with water while motor is running. (Product services systems up to 12 quarts.) Replace radiator cap.
  5. A. For only flushing your radiator, run engine with heater on max for 10 minutes.B. For deeper radiator cleaning, drive your vehicle for 3-6 hours at normal driving conditions or intermittently over a period of a few days, if weather permits. Do not let the cooling system temperature fall below 32 degrees F.
  6. Allow engine to cool. Repeat drain procedure (Step 1). Flush cooling system thoroughly with water until all cleaner is removed.
  7. Close drain and install required amount of antifreeze.

I had drained both radiator and block plug, pulled out the T-stat, filled it with distilled water, ran it a bit, drained it again and filled it with distilled plus blue devil flush.. I guess I'm on the keep the system temp above 32..

I'll go another 24 and drain and refill with straight distilled two times on saturday, drain, and then put in the zerex G-05 mix on sunday.

Probably never needing a coolant change again kind of hinges on pure water and cleanliness when switching to the HOAT coolant... With a 2010 I'm sure mine started out with different juice than later 1gens.

Also my conclusion today after a few days with the Hawk pads broken into the Detroit slotted and drilled rotors.. I have to say these are some good brakes for Amazon.
