Another final ending in my series of posts in the post-COVID repair/replacement segments. Everything went smoothly and no runs, no drips and no errors. (Except for a minor hiccup due to the wrong u joints listed incorrectly at the parts stores). Report; while I had no driveline wobble or vibrations other than the slight early seal leak, I did have a slight bump/clunk on takeoffs. The slip yoke shaft was indeed a bit dry. After the u joints replacement and seal, I also lubed the shaft. Went for a highway run and a noticeable improvement! Everything feels nice and tight again and no bump, wobbles or vibrations to report. (Once again care was taken in the description due to potential views from minors). Also, included in the final/after pics are the parts used and correct numbers...

I've always been under the impression that the slip yoke has to basically be covered in grease before install. I've pulled it once and threw some red n tacky on it and cleaned off the bit that squeezed out.
