No whining at all. Kinda weird after driving Ford trucks for 40 years, I’m used to the “whine” lol!

Steering may be just the tiniest bit lighter, if at all. It has good road feel and seems consistent.

At this point I’m just checking for leaks then going to reinstall the skid plates. I think my rack might have a tiny leak so that might be the next project.

Installed the Sync 3 upgrade package I purchased from a guy on FB. Once the dash panels starting breaking loose it was a pretty easy project and took no more than an hour. I mostly did it for the CarPlay integration as my other vehicles have it and it's hard to live without!

This is with wired CarPlay. My other vehicles have wireless, which is super nice, but also a bit annoying as my wife and I swap vehicles.
I have the Infotainment.com Sync3 upgrade and I forgot the company......I have another module installed that forces Rear Cam, Front Cam and bypasses motion lock

I forgot the name......lol

Lockpick?
NavTV.com
Their stuff was All Plug Play
Works flawlessly
No hacking of any wiring and worked well with Infotainment.com sync3 upgrade

My ONLY gripe is the ability to update the map
I spoke with them a month ago
They are working on it and should have a map update on flash drive we could use

Ford does it over their network and doesn't allow infotainment ot 4dtech in their system for the updates

I use Waze most of the time but still would like my oem map updated
