Haven’t had any luck with OEM gaskets. I broke down an put a small bead of RTV around it and it has been holding up well, even though it’s not recommended. Good luck with a gasket though.
Thanks....I am thinking doing RTV as well with the New light enroute

Not much done to the old girl today other than finishing some initial fit tests of the LCA reinforcements. Should have the files sent to the laser cutter this week and get over the bit of stall-out I've had with this project racking my brain on what's the best course of action. Need to check the left upper ball joint taper engagement to see if I need spindles. Dern thing popped out of the taper when I looked at it cross-eyed on tear-down.

As a night shift heavy diesel mechanic, I'm burnt out when I get home most days so the truck sits until I finally get the initiative to keep on the project. Hopefully the fact that the truck is cramping up the machine shop will help get my butt into gear, make a decision on where to take the project, and get it done.

I had the plugs, all fluids like, engine oil, diffs, transfer, coolant, power steering, (minus the transmission as it wasn’t due), changed, tires rotated and balanced and needed a rear brake pad issue looked at. The return trip this morning involved, low tire pressure light, improper tire rotation (yes my tires are marked) the brake issue was not looked into, and how to deal with a lost socket inside my frame rail. You know the normal stuff

My replacement 3rd brakelight should arrive Next Week Wednesday

I spent some time looking at the GJ Motorsports 3rd brakelight upgrade
Watched their install video
At the end of the day.. configured they way I want it....I am looking at close to $900 for this light. Not counting installation

My question would be...what if the 1 watt RED LED requires replacement....would we need to RMA or does GJ sell replacement parts where we can R/R ourselves
