Don't go too bright and the direction in which the light shines is important. You could easily wash out your rear view camera.

Ok - How many lumens and what is the spread pattern of the lights.
Thank you all for the responses. I understood the LED lights (if used) in the license plate sockets would wash out the rear camera. I have the Rigids and will mount outboard on my bumper but will see if it washes it out. Thanks for the tips, will report back

Ok - How many lumens and what is the spread pattern of the lights.
I am running Baja Design S2 Sports Amber flush mount wide angle and they work ok. I think the work lense would have been better. The wide angle doesn't quite wash out the camera. I change them from a beam / wide angle combo. The Amber beam / wide angle washed out the camera at night to make it almost un-useable. The above light combo isn't by any means very bright for off road night marker lights or night activities.
SO - Just trying to give some basic advise - Keep the lumens, mounting position and pattern within reason.
But again - This is the internet and free advise is worth what you pay for it.
