I decided that in my shelter in place/home activities include a tire rotation, brake pads inspection, wheel well cleaning and caliper painting.

Well into another day of home/house arrest due to abundance of caution for CoVid19...I find myself having to continue on improving and tackling additional tweaks to the Jenny big hipped Beast.

I held my breathe and stood on line at the local Home Depot. And didn’t want to drive too far for fear of the local police questioning my travels under the stay at home orders.

I added a safeguard to my loading in the cab tools, by installing a semipermanent slotted angle and anchor points that can be adjusted. I stole the idear from a Utuber. I didn’t copy his exactly. I used steel offset angle instead of his aluminum and I used bolted anchors vs his adjustable clip channel bar.

Yes... not a Raptor. But I swapped my front end to the Gen 1 suspension and added Eibach coils and Camburg upper control arms. The added width needed new fenders and the OEM Raptor fenders were too pricey for what they are so I went with 3” flattop fiberglass from McNeil Racing. Fittment is great and the gel coat is flawless, will be having them painted Oxford White to match in April.

I should get my truck back from the body shop this week so I went ahead and mounted the lights in my new bumper. It took a little trial and error to figure out which brackets and what orientation to use so let me know if anyone is planning to run a 40” Onx6+ in the ADD Venom R front bumper and I’ll get some pictures of the mounts.

yeah I’ve been trying to order the Gen 1 style grill from Boost-Bars but it hasn’t been in stock since November. They said the demand is low for that grill so they’d email when it’s back in stock. I actually prefer the Gen 2 grill look, but I agree it doesn’t match up with the Gen 1 body lines, looks too bulky.
