I emptied mine at 2,500 miles last week, and I think I had about 1/2 that amount (NA - 55k miles). I find that the truck fills it every 5,000 miles in warm weather, and about every 1,500 during the bitter cold months (a lot of water - so looks milky).

The residue looks pretty normal. As long as there are no metal flakes in it, you're fine.

How do you drive? If you enjoy spirited pulls, you will fill the can faster.

Good info. I'm familiar with checking for metal in the oil having been in the airplane industry for 35 years. The residue got the magnet test. In other can checks, the level was much lower for equivalent mileage, so I was bit surprised at this one. The truck gets driven fairly softly, so is not under much stress. Rarely any spirited pulls. The spirited drivers would say it's a pavement queen, although I do take it hunting, so it does get put in 4x4 some.

Friday the time came for me to let my Gen1 go. 8 years, 6 of 7 Snoballs and 128,000 miles the truck ranks top 3 of 50+ cars, trucks and race cars I have owned. I will miss it.

I replaced it with a 19 Gen2 but I will always be a OG Gen1 guy at heart.

Wheres the crying Jordan emoji when you need it?

Try to sell on your own, I just could not find a buyer for an 8 year old norther truck with 128k. Started at 27 dropped to 25 then 23 and got only 2 inquiries but noting stuck. Dealer was very generous to give me 21. It ended up being a little sad to let it go that way but since the new one was in and I don’t need or want 2 Raptors I traded it.

Accidentally op’d this in general instead of here.

Got a hell of a deal from @Nood1es on some lightly used KO2s. Put them on the truck the other day and put some miles on them today.

Had Destination ATs when I got the truck used a couple months ago, they looked ok, but these really make the truck pop.

Thanks again @Nood1es, you the man!
