The windshield washer suddenly stopped working...after some diagnostics, I determined it was the washer pump.
Advanced Auto Parts had a replacement, so I picked it up. This was a mistake!
After watching a video on how to replace it, I took off the right headlight. This was really easy.
I took out the old pump and realized the replacement only had one outlet. The original had two, one for the windshield and the other for the front camera wash.
Note: the screen was almost totally clogged with green goo. This was from the Rain-X bug type washer fluid. Stay away from this type.
I installed the pump anyway to test it out and it worked fine for the windshield.
After searching for the correct pump, I found the price to vary from $25 to $35. The correct Motorcraft part number is WG312.
Luckily, I tried RockAuto. I am very impressed with them. Not only did I have it quickly, it was only $16.
