The windshield washer suddenly stopped working...after some diagnostics, I determined it was the washer pump.
Advanced Auto Parts had a replacement, so I picked it up. This was a mistake!

After watching a video on how to replace it, I took off the right headlight. This was really easy.
I took out the old pump and realized the replacement only had one outlet. The original had two, one for the windshield and the other for the front camera wash.

Note: the screen was almost totally clogged with green goo. This was from the Rain-X bug type washer fluid. Stay away from this type.

I installed the pump anyway to test it out and it worked fine for the windshield.

After searching for the correct pump, I found the price to vary from $25 to $35. The correct Motorcraft part number is WG312.
Luckily, I tried RockAuto. I am very impressed with them. Not only did I have it quickly, it was only $16.

Sorry, no pictures, but the video shows it in more detail.

Started it at lunch time and coolant spewing from underneath, well shit the heater hose completely split out the side. Was able to fix it with limited tools available. Fun times

Replaced brake pads after 30k on my 2014... Went with performance Akebono pads. They seem to stop a little better then stock. Next round I’ll do like SVTTROOPER did lol
