is this a software update? or replacing the head unit?
It’s replacing the whole head unit. $1350 is a little pricey, but was worth it to me. Hated the MFT. The one they send you is just plug and play. Took about an hour to install. Pretty simple using the video on YouTube.

I have had the GJ Motorsports 3rd brake light on for two weeks. I love it! I chose the stop/turn/reverse with strobe pattern harness. It took TMX 4 hours for the install. The 3rd brake light works in sync with the tail lights and the turn signals (side mirrors and tail lights). In short, this is a very nice set up. It syncs so well with everything else on the vehicle, you would think it is OEM. Well worth the money.

I would highly recommend working with GJ Motorsports. Connor and Tom have been great to deal with. I got acquainted with Connor in July. In short, I am glad we came into contact.

As you can tell, I like red :)

My 2011 "blue"s transmission came in...last one in the US (for now at least) btw ford.com has a 20% discount on EVERYTHING right now. So i saved a ton on this.
As soon as i get time im installing. Pretty excited to have a zero mile (340,000 mile) raptor [emoji23]
I should do a build thread on this thing...never restored something so new.

I texted you some videos. In order for me to post a video, I would have to upload it to YouTube (or something similar) and I am not messing with all of that. If anybody wants a video, message me your number and I will text you one.

That is awesome! But I thought you recently changed out the solenoids and lead frame on your original transmission? Why do all of that if you were planning on changing out the transmission?

When something happens to my 6.2, I am going to put a Livernois 6.6 stroker in it and have the transmission rebuilt with an upgraded billet torque converter, billet shaft, and upgraded clutches. She will not depart from me until someone puts me six feet under :)

Yeah... i did change the shift selenoids and the leadframe however it didn't do the "trick" the original transmission was rebuilt at 200k and another 140k later it was shifting hard in and out of 4. I was hoping for an easy fix...
Called my transmission guy (who is now retired) and he said you cannot rebuild the 6r80 properly for less than you can buy a Ford reman (and that's without the 20% discount!)
Not to mention the Ford reman comes with a 5 year warranty (pretty sure that requires the stealership to install) but f it, I'm installing. Nice thing is that it is the proper raptor transmission so it is plug and play with no reprogramming.
Another option i looked into was a take out from a 5.0 f150 that had 30k. Guy knew what he had and was asking 2300 (plus that one would need a reprogram)
I'll post pics when i do the swap.
