Did some off-roading on Friday, and the truck soaked up everything with ease. After buying a LT kit, I am always on the look out to hit some dirt.
I did some preventive maintenance on the truck today and will finish tomorrow. I figured I would share some of the stuff I am using.
I highly recommend running Camburg’s bushing grease for anybody that has LCA’s with polyurethane bushings. You will not find a better grease for your bushings! -

Also, make sure you have something to regularly maintain your heims -

And lastly, I am going to do a little touch up on my suspension components with STEEL- IT -
Stainless Steel Paint for Metal, Anticorrosive Stainless Steel Coating: Protective Antirust Paints & Industrial Coatings from STEEL-IT®
I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure any aftermarket suspension set up will rust if the paint becomes chipped. I am using STEEL-IT to prevent rust from spreading on a few chips that I have on my LCA’s until I get the entire suspension lined with Kevlar.
