Always comforting when you walk into your local muffler shop and ask about a Hemholtz or J-tube to correct drone and they look at you like you have 3 heads! I'd sure like to find someone who knows what they're doing who could build one for my system.

Not sure where you live but the guys at morse muffler in burbank ca are awesome.
No matter what with a loud(er) exhaust you are bound to get some sort of drone anyways. Thats why i put a cutout right after the headers. WAY loud and a flip of a switch whisper quiet

I'm in Wyoming. Thanks for the tip, I might have to give them a shout and see what they can do. Would kind of like to have them make it adjustable so that it can be tuned.

Finally got another evening to work on it. Finished the underside of the bed.

Removed the rear shocks to replace the shin guards. I was not able to put the Shock Security washers on the top bolt on the ICON RXT due to the shock stabilizer bracket so the company said install them on the bottom. Well that was an absolutely bad idea so we aren't putting those back on, had to grind both down just to get the special tool in it. Found that the shocks need to be rebuilt when I leaned on them so will be sending those off to ICON plus beat to shit so sure there will be extra parts needed.

Removed the whole exhaust and welded it up, it was about to fall apart. Have had too many issues with the Ford Racing one, it is just not designed for off-roading.

Was checking few things under truck today and found this

I was going to do something for exhaust any way so not that big of deal but i definitely did not expect this to fall apart this soon.

Then the good part, it's loud and proud V8
