Went to Death Valley, then ****** and bumped over some rocks on Mengle Pass...

...then, thanks to a rock slide that cut the trail width in half, squeezed the truck through the narrows in Goler Wash. (note the mirrors are folded in)

Along the way I also tangled with a large boulder, no pics though. Thanks to the LGE/CTS bumper, the only damage is some significant scratches to the bumper itself, and the passenger fender flare. Once I wash the truck, I'm sure I'll be calling some of the site vendors to see if they have any spare flares available. I don't even want to know how much Ford charges for them.

Minus the carnage, seemed like an awesome trip puddle.

For what Ford charges for the flares, you could upgrade to aftermarket fenders and be money ahead.

:wtf2: Is that for both fronts, or just one side?!! :wtf:

I only need the grey flare, not the whole fender. But I did get some pin striping courtesy of several bushes. If those don't buff out, I was thinking of wrapping the truck...maybe a fender upgrade will happen along the way. :head3:

Finally got around to taking some pics of the mods I've been doing.

For that cost id buy some new sexy ass +2 fenders

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry, but it's not that easy. I have some damage to my passenger fender and thought it would be easier just to buy Boatec fiberglass +2 (pair is only $500). Here's the catch - I got a quote for the shipping, a quote for the install and custom fitting, and then paint matching. It's over $2,000 all said and done.

I'm having the body shop just fix the small damage to the fender (~$300).

Cleaned it and the engine bay. Installed the DBS screen, Stubby, Raptor license plate frame, McGard tailgate lock and DeeZee tailgate assist. Then moved all my stuff from my previous truck into this one.
