Driving a parted out Raptor

for a few days  Actually I picked up a scratch & dent ADD Venom front bumper. So, I decided to get it powder coated silver (close match to Ingot silver). Then i decided to pull of the flares & rear bumper to paint them silver too. Just picked up the bumper today, and it looks sharp! more gloss than I expected too. Wish I could swing a rear bumper too, but Oh well, in time.

Wonder how long it will hold a gloss in the Az sun??

Anyway, good Friday is going to be paint day at the House of Otis. I'm going with a semi gloss clearcoat since I'm sure the bumper will eventually lose some of the gloss.

You need to do the relocate mod for the wiring harness cabling that hangs below the frame.

Pinch Welds

Was at the ROC shop on Tuesday to have Noah look at the alarm system that he had installed 20 months ago, it was going into alarm for no reason and for the past two weeks I had it bypassed and in valet mode. Well wouldn't you know it, after Noah just touched the system it never did it again and is working fine now. Thanks for lunch too that day Noah. Hope you made it back to Colorado safely that day.

While at the shop, Paul helped me do the pinch welds on both sides of my front wheel wells. Since I put on the 37s the tires would rub on tight turns and extreme angles. It was a first for both of us and took us about 45 min on the drivers side and 30 min on the passenger side.

Then we removed the stock spare 35" tire/rim and the cable system since I won't be carrying my 37" spare under the bed. By the way that spare OEM tire/rim is at the ROC shop in Sacramento and is for sale.

Thanks for the help Zombie aka Paul
