I have seen that Shelby on this site before. It really is quite a truck, but the price is out of bounds...

Installed my Lex Motorsports Baja Elite Bumper and it turned out great. Thanks for Westside Offroad Group and Alternative Offroad.

If only there was something that told him exactly what bit to use......
Why not just tell him to get a Torx 50 Plus bit instead of watching a fellow struggle?
He was using the correct bit, the problem was the bits shattering under the torque. They where husky 3/8" t50 bits with s2 tool steel shanks and the shanks where shattering. Ended up having to use lots of heat, I think he killed 5 bits (22" breaker bar provides a lot of torque).
Luckily the husky bits have a life time warranty and a 2 minute trip to Home Depot provided ample free replacements.

Not sure this would have helped with the shattering bits, as Wikipedia seems to indicate that it's only an improved socket to driver fit for more torque, the bits shattered due to the high torque required usually at the top of the cut outs for the driver head.
Also didn't know Torx plus was a thing, learnt something here, however it's not a readily available tool most places only have regular torx bits.
FYI - just for future knowledge: NAPA has the Torx plus available and is a normal stock item. Mine weren't nearly that tough to get out, but the Plus size really made for a tight and secure fit. I also soaked the crap out of the bottom nut clips with penetrating oil the night before, which I think helped some, too. Gobbed a bunch of anti seize when I reinstalled them......
would cutting oil help
