Then I finished up my Hi-Lift jack mounts and installed the jack in the bed. I didn't get a pic because I was racing daylight but for anyone mounting either a jack like this or anything closer to the bed and need to be able to hold the nuts on the backside between the bed and fender what I did was (And I don't care if you judge me lol) I removed the cap on the top of the bed. There are squares cut out for the clips on the cap to snap into that are 1 1/2"x3/4" spaced out about every 12". I cut an access hole between the factory ones about 2"x1" and used it to but my nuts and washers on and tighten the bolts. It also made it easier because I put a piece of 3/8" steel plate cut a little bigger than the mounting bracket for a backer plate since the jack is a tad heavy.

I have been wanting to cut an oval sized hole for some bed lights in the raised section on the inner bed side in between where u mounted the hangers for the jack. Can u enlighten me as to hat is behind there.

I just stared at it today! Over the past week I line'xed the flares and new svc bumper. Put on my new G-bros springs and new 315/70/18 Toyos mts!

There is absolutely nothing behind it. I think it's raised to add strength to the bedside. There is about 3 1/2" between the bed and rear fenders. I messed with the bolts for the jack mount for about 2 1/2 hours before I decided to cut a hole under the cap. After that I was done in 10 minutes lol.
