I miss and and the same time do not miss my Lightning. Had twin whippled 525 EFI's.
Unfortunately was running Bravo XR drives so maintaining it was $$. Thankfully the new Merc drives can support much more power. Fastest I had the boat was 104mph, never got around to doing the prop work to get a few more MPH before I sold her

Boats are badass, glad I have friends with them - prevents me from having to own one!

After a month (and a week) I got my baby back, she's all set for the new season now.

Bolt kit
new fenders
linex'd liners
brace for SW Y pipe
extended brake lines for deaver +5's in the rear
new front bumper (modified Raceline R)
new winch synthetic line
new Toyo RT 37's

truck drives way different, it feels that the geometry has changed so that unlike the old setup there is less stress on the PS pump, better turning radius too.

love the way it looks now, sits about 1 3/4" higher than before as well

Another visit, looks to be coming along. Also going to do the LCA doubler plates and upgraded kit. Shop is going to weld them on for me.

Oh, and those marks in pink on the driver side tire and wheel, well the shop is getting a new tire and ring, said it was damaged and who am I to argue with that assessment....
