Gave it a foam gun bath today and finished with Adams HGG. Man that stuff is nice. VRT to the tires.

And.......removed the famous 'skateboard tape' from the rocker panels in preparation for a custom rocker panel wrap to come!!!

Man! Getting the tires shined up really makes the whole truck look even better!

Glad you liked the H2O Guard & Gloss.

That stuff really is pretty amazing. I've never dried a vehicle that size with only 2 towels. Never would have believed it.

The VRT really is dry to the touch once applied. Kind of a weird product. Looks wet.....

And the detail spray works great for cleaning the door jambs and door bottoms.

I am a believer......:hail:

The HGG is quite different, you really have to try it to see what it does when it hits the water.

Another great option for the door jambs is a Rinseless Wash dilution. Mix it at about 10:1 (1.5oz in a 16oz sprayer) and the cost per ounce is about $0.04 (when you buy the Rinseless Wash concentrate in a gallon). Much more economical than using Detail Spray for cleaning, since the cost per ounce for Detail Spray in the gallon is about $0.32.

The Rinseless Wash at a higher concentration of 6:1 is also a great pre-treater/pre-soak for bugs.

I have to try that HGG dose it have to go on a clean surface? Like clayed

Yes, the surface has to be very clean, since you are wiping it on and also wiping the haze off. Any dirt left on the paint can get into the towels and scratch the paint.

Claying is not required every time, only if the paint feels rough using the baggy test. I typically only clay twice a year during the spring and fall full details. The rest of the time, I just do a really good wash, then apply the H2O Guard & Gloss.
