What color option did you choose for your Gen2 Raptor?

Anyone hear anything on Race Red?

When I put in my order the only Red available was Ruby Red.

I would assume the mustang's race red?

Very tough choice. I had originally ordered avalanche but switched it to white. I think avalanche is an incredible color but I too seek the high contrast and after doing a lot of searching, found that avalanche just had to much variation for me. I have not seen avalanche in person so I admit I could be completely missing out. Although most of the pics in avalanche look incredible some made me question. Do a Google search for 2017 Ford Raptor Mint 400. That race truck is avalanche, all of the pics. The closer it looks to white the more I like it the more grey/blue it looks the less I like it. In the end I felt I could not be disappointed with white but if I got avalanche then saw a white one with the contrast look I am after there was a chance I could regret my decision.

Two things really helped me with the final decision. The Levine walk through video https://youtu.be/1wRVxWRHIyk, not a bad angle to be found IMO, and perfect common sense post on this forum (I don't remember where it is or I would quote it), "If you want white get white, if you want grey get grey." I asked myself that question and it took any question right out of it.

i think you hit it bang on but i am not sure if i want a grey truck or a white truck. Overtime i see the avalanche grey i like it more and more but i just don't think you can go wrong with the white....

I agree 100% with you that the lighter the grey the more i like it and he more bluer the grey the less i like it. One thing also keeping me from ordering avalanche is i think a large percentage of orders will be avalanche grey while there will to be as many white.

Well, that's definitely more race than ruby.... Loved the gen1 ruby red. Wish they kept that color.

I was on the fence between black and avalanche. It was between the classic, full stealth, bad-ass look of a black vehicle but ultimately the contrast with the beadlocks and Avalanche did it for me. If there wasn't a black wheel option for this truck, I would've stuck with black. Here's another GT Avalanche pic with a white stripe to show the contrast in color. Avalanche with the black-out wheels looks really cool to me.

I drove about 2hrs yesterday to check out the Avalanche Gray on a Mustang, I ordered Black because it was safe, I hadn't seen the gray in person, and it's too hard to decide using pics because the lighting varies. Well, the color in person is striking, not close to white, beautiful color, I ended up calling my dealer and making the change. If you're on the fence about the gray, try and find a mustang in your area and go take a look in person, I'm really glad I did.

The color in the video is race red. The color that is available should be the same ruby red.
