The weld critic in me notices the porosity and undercut. But considering the application that will be plenty strong. When you coat it with line-x it will be smooth.

im not seeing the porosity but there is lots of undercut. op i know you said it was tiged but some of it to me looks miged

Just to clarify, we didn't grind out or cut what the other guy did. He welded on top of what was already there but melted it and blended in new.

I can see that welder #2 actually got some heat in it too compared to welder #1. Cooked off some Line-X. Much more gooder.

Yeah that line-x was dripping and getting into it when he was welding, which I know isn't good. Plus it has fumes which probably wasn't good for either of us.
