Grats SOCO (Mech)!
I've already got a question - but will put it in the Exhaust thread where it belongs... Hopefully your expertise will help educate me and the rest of us regarding flow restrictions.

Glad you are here permanently SOCO, now that you have most of us hooked on headers and tunes and so forth it's good to know you will be keeping an eye on how our disease progresses, from a technical/clinical perspective of course.

Congrats SOCOMech!!

You're a great resource. Roads finally dry enough (and unfrozen enough) that I got my new baby up over a 100mph a few times today. Maybe some performance mods will see there way to my driveway after all...I like the smiles that speed brings.

Cheers!!

edit: (OK, perhaps I was passing at 98 mph...I never felt it cut out. Exciting nonetheless.)

Congrats SOCOM and I hit near 100 several times today. Its not that hard when you have your cruise set at 80mph and need to get around someone.

Birdman...glad to know I wasn't crazy...edited the post knowing someone would probably flame me. :naughty:

I had my ****** GPS radar detector on the dash. I should have thought to look at it (realtime GPS speedo). Felt really solid. In fact I was hovering between 90-95 for about 4 or 5 minutes after I passed. Very smooth.

Trolls56, South Dakota huh? You know a lot about "the middle of ******* nowhere" just like me. Had a BMW 1150GS Adventure doing 119mph last year on the same stretch of road. 'taint no big thang. :roflsquared:

I was on I29 going from Sioux City to Sioux Falls the speed limit is 75mph. Even with the cruise at 80 you get passed all the time. I was just saying its not hard to hit 100 when you are cruising at 80. You know when you got some ******* Chevy driver coming up beside you going 85 and there is a semi you are coming up on. Its either hit the brakes or hit the gas. I don't like resetting my cruise.
