Weak detent for doors

holy crap on the last pic. can't begin to imagine how that happened. but about the door thing, i know someone with the same problem. it has garnered (and caused) a few scratches and dents as well. i told him to check them online..

This is still my biggest gripe with my Raptor.

All F-150s from the past few generations are like this. My L was like this, so was my 05 work truck, and so is the Raptor.

No one has any ideas? Before the Raptor I had an 08 F150 FX4 and I don't remember this being near as bad. Nor my L. In fact, i almost recall them having more positions then just the two the Raptor has, midway and all the way. I think I remember there being three.

By far my biggest complaint as well. I may try to look into looking at other door models and seeing if the parts are inter-changeable.

It's f*cking ridiculous they put such a nice paint job and price tag and then have a flaw like the door detent issue. PET PEEVE!!! FFS
