Like I said your understanding of "data" is astonishingly poor. Did you try to convince us you were an Engineer at one time?

Data for previous version (read: not the same) engines may or may not be relevant.

I once knew an idiot forum troll on a softball forum that repeated the same erroneous information over and over again, but that data doesn't necessarily mean that you are....wait. Maybe previous "data" is relevant.

Exactly what I am telling you - the inherent design issues of the faulty intercooler and failing cam phasers carried to the 17+ 3.5 ecoboosts. We are seeing BOTH failures already.

Your narrative gets discredited more with every post you make as well as your secondary and tertiary accounts here on FRF as well as when people more knowledgeable than you offer comment. Yet you insist on spreading your false narrative.

I implore you to seek psychiatric help, with immediacy.
You’re not well sasquatch77 and you need help to get past this obsession. Please. Before you do something harmful to yourself or others.

You guys will see soon how awful the ecoboost ownership experience gets. I feel bad for those here that don't take good advice.

The weep hole has been done across all of the model years. It has been accepted as the tried and true way to prevent any misfire issues. The folks doing this are also high, medium, and low mileage people. Most will either encounter this early on, or once they hit 40k-50k miles.
I disagree with your thoughts on this.
1. There was never an updated intercooler offered. It was block off plates and tuning which made matters worse. The active shutter system in 15+ helped, but didn't solve.
2. A lack of maintenance or driving habits does not cause the intercooler to build up condensate. Once you understand the root cause of misfire is condensate buildup, you will then understand.
The service record here for the 3.5 ecoboost is really poor. I couldn't find a service department that recommends them. Once you dive in and research the tons of data on this, you will understand.

So does an aftermarket IC from ADD or AFE make it better or worse? I know the ADD kit kills the shutters.

How many of the "experts" posting in this thread actually own a 2017 Gen2 Raptor?

Please identify yourself and explain the source of your "knowledge" and information you're posting

Hands-down, the worst part about owning an EB is trying to browse these forums and wade through the knee-high sewage you call "data".

It's like a 9th grader who tried to write a book report when he only watched the 80s movie version. No matter how many time you repeat yourself, it doesn't make it true.

In other news, does anyone know of a Raptor forum that mods actually moderate this kind of garbage? I just want to know what kind of cool shit people are testing out and where to meet up for fun-runs.

Correct- the aftermarket coolers make the situation worse. You will see a few of them identify that condensate buildup is an issue and they have installed a weep hole.
