Ok here's an update for everyone. The dealership just called me and thanks to Crystal calling the regional customer service manager and having her call the dealership they have decided to cover a new rear window under my warranty. He placed the order today and is hoping to have it installed on Monday. I'm pretty happy that Ford stepped up and also for the fact that we have an awesome Ford representative on this forum in Crystal @FordService that listens to our whinny cry baby asses and does what she can to help us out.
The new Ford truck models won't have this problem..... no point.....Way to go @FordService !!!! I'm glad this all worked out for the best.
Now, about that petition to address this issue and get it fixed once and for all........

so does that mean i am going to get my $100 deductible back that i paid my insurance company since my claim was denied?
i dont think she was here when it happened. regardless, its been stated numerous times but i got turned downYou damn well should. I still can't believe how adamant they were that it wouldn't be covered but within a few hours of Crystal getting involved they all of a sudden called me and had a change of heart. It's being installed this Wednesday. When you were going through it did you get Crystal involved?
