I don't have an issue waiting until January. I am in Oregon so I don't think the CA emissions applies.

Read the response again. My list is 100% complete. I want nothing additional. All of the trucks on RF have options that I do not want. What I listed is all I want. No deviations.

I get it. You want what you want. Who doesnt?

No problem. Start doing the leg work of READING previous posts on this site of dealers who will order for msrp. THEN make the phone calls to get the deal. Then be prepared to wait. (maybe until spring 2018)

Good luck

Fair enough. I assumed you were agnostic about the other options since you had posted "no" tailgate appliqué. I always forget it's standard on the 2018.

Anyways, good luck. You may need to do a lot more leg work if you don't want to get stuck with a late allocation.

I do not think that's correct - all 2018's are CA emissions legal. IF you purchase from out of State (i.e. CA emissions option was not added), you need to get the car weighed and inspected before registering with the CA DMV.

No they are NOT all CA emissions equipped. I order Ford trucks virtually everyday. The specific order code for California Emissions on F-150s is 422. Although there is no charge for this option, for a dealer to legally order this option, the truck must be shipped to a California dealer. Without this order option, the other options are 49 state legal (not legal for registration in CA) or code 425 which is 50 states emissions, but I can not guarantee that would suffice with California regulations, depending on the DMV.
I just don't want someone going through the hassle and cost of buying and not being able to get it registered, at least not without jumping through a bunch of hoops. I don't care if a dealer gets their hands slapped for not playing by the rules

Edit:
I disagree. Regardless of what option you choose- the emissions and the emissions sticker on the truck (Non-CA or CA) is the same (atleast for 2017 and 2018). Many people have reported this. read: http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f260/california-emissions-53566/index3.html

When you register at the CA DMV, they want to see:

1. The emissions sticker (some people report they don't even check this)
2. Your sales contract (to collect Sales Tax)
3. Smog check
4. Proof you had the vehicle weighed.

Bump. Still looking for a dealer willing to order.

Dealers aren't exactly desperate to sell Raptors, they pretty much sell themselves. You'll have far better luck LOOKING for a good deal then asking someone to make you an offer you can't refuse.

Absolutely. I called about 25 dealers before a forum member gave me a referral. You just have to search. If you aren't set on a 2018, try finding a 2017. Dealers will probably we lowering/eliminating the ADM on 2017s now that 2018s are hitting the streets.

I have called and or emailed over 80 dealers so far. Unless I want to pay ADM none have been willing to take on order at MSRP. I am not willing to compromise on the options so buying off the lot is not likely to happen. I have tried brokers, Costco, Car.com, Truecar, USAA, local credit union, etc.

You might be waiting indefinitely. You want it at a specific price, you want it with zero deviations on the options you want, no matter how minor and you want the dealer to come to you. You'll have to get very luck and/or wait quite some time.

The fact of the matter is, as I've said before, the demand is quite high. Another factor is, there's no shortage of customers who are easier to please or willing to pay more, or both. If you already had an established relationship with a dealership, this could be a reasonable venture, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.

Put yourself in the dealers shoes... Which customer would you rather work with?

I also looked earlier this year in the Oregon area (have to first register with family in OR for tax purposes) - not much luck. Overall the west coast is pretty tough with regards for ADM - higher incomes and good off-roading areas. I'm planning to order as well for a 2018 spring delivery, probably will be looking in other states in the west that are more sparsely populated (ex montana)

You are 100% wrong. ALL RAPTORS HAVE THE SAME EMISSION EQUIPMENT. The ONLY difference is the paperwork - the CA option is PAPERWORK ONLY. Stop spreading BS.
