Just got off the phone with the local dealer, he talked to his Ford connection and said it will only be 2017 F-150's available in order bank on 7/18, Raptor is not scheduled for order bank as of yet. Also said first 2017 Raptors were scheduled to ship mid-November so they would have to be ordered by August. Take it fwiw...

I wonder how many they can build a day, how many people will actually order a truck in, say the first few weeks, etc.

My local dealer in California (Central Valley) said they have 4 raptors pre sold, and 8 others in line that would like to be called to order.

Really? because you're trying really hard to know the dealership so you can do the exact same thing...

Haha then why don't you do that!? That's what I did! It sounds like 4DR got an excellent deal but I wouldn't say ~$500 is significantly better, especially since it could be across the country. Wait a sec!? Why aren't you pressing 4DR so hard for his dealer!?

haha dude you've gotta pick one side.. you either have to be upset that i'm not immediately sharing the dealer because you want to get a good deal too or you have to be upset because i'm jumping the gun a bit quick and you think I could save more money by waiting..

Just relax man lol you'll get the Gen 2 that you want, at the price you want... and I'll share my dealer experiences soon

I'm glad you care about my ******* though, truly. And the only reason I'm not clobbering over anyone for dealer names is because Fairway Ford in San Jose, CA sold Raptors at $260 over invoice in 2014, and after a call with them not too long ago, they said they will be offering the same deals as before to customers and will not be unfair or "too far over invoice at all". So whether that's the same $260 over as before, or $500, I'll be alright.

I wanted you to share your dealer because I think it's stupid to hoard a dealer when the list isn't even out for a minimum of 4 more days. But with the new information a few posts back, it's looking like even later since it's proposed that the 7/18 date is for regular 2017 F150's. And not even that's concrete. But we should be spreading the word for dealers who are not trying to price gouge their customers. This isn't Delta, you don't need to affix the oxygen mask to yourself before assisting others. Anyone who wants a Raptor will receive one, why not try to help everyone get the best deal. We are all interested in this truck. Help the forum out as a group. It's not like I was looking for a dealer in the mid-atlantic to go throw money at today. But if they took yours, that dealer will gladly take more peoples money to be put in a fictional line for a truck that won't be out for months. I just wonder why they took any sort of payment if the ordering part is still far off. Seems odd. Also, Fairway Ford rep said they are "hearing" of October-November for Raptors to hit the lots. We'll see.

Here's the list of dealers i've inquired on. I marked the ones in Red as "Over MSRP" the ones in Green are at MSRP or below and the ones in Yellow haven't given me any real info yet. I've been talking to Williamsburg Ford and they have been helpful. I have no idea if they will do the same deal or not but if you're in this area you'll at least know where to start or not start your search.

Hope it helps!

I put a $500 deposit down to secure my place to make an order as soon as it becomes available. The deposit is refundable and transferable. I have not signed any documents and I imagine I won't do so until the build sheet is available

Wait a sec, you gave a $500 deposit and didn't sign ANY documents? Seriously?

I will sell you one at $100 below invoice, just send me $500 via paypal friends and family and I will guarantee it and you don't have to sign anything, we will just keep it between ourselves.....
