Hope they don't do to you what my x dealer did to me. ordered my gen 1, put down the deposit, waited 5 months, got no answers from my x dealer. keep in mind I have bought 7 trucks in 20 years from them. called customer care at ford. finally after numerous calls finally got some one who cared. they did some checking, oh the dealer does not have the allotment. theirs was spent for the year. they kept hoping I would take whatever truck they got in. finally got my truck thru another dealer.

That's how they run their dealership, it's in BFE so they have to have a gimmick to get people out there.

I'm in NW Kansas, the real BFE and all they tell me here is "we will have to talk when it opens up, but we try to be fair". No idea what that means but if it's not good I'll gladly road trip to AZ lol

Everything I'm reading is they can order the trucks as long as someone has an order to buy it. :)

Unlimited orders.. I honestly don't see how sharing could screw anything up. A dealer can place as many orders as they want, right? If I was Acg or another with a contact, I'd go back and say cut me a better deal and I'll try to help you get several more sales right now.
I don't have experience ordering vehicles which is why I was hoping I could follow someones elses steps or place they ordered from.

They can place 1,000 orders but they all won't arrive 6-8 weeks later.

And dealerships don't do group buys, unfortunately. ;)

I guess the one piece of info i'm still unclear on is time frame of the process for Allotment orders vs non-allotment customer orders (In general, not necessarily raptor specific). I've read some great threads on order process and priorities of orders, allocation, retail vs stock etc, but not much specific on timeframe.

Is the commonly referred to 12 week estimate for all orders?

Assuming you ordered on day 1 using a dealer allotment/allocation, what generally is timeframe? 6-12weeks?

Then figure you did the same, without an allocation? 12weeks+ when allotments have been filled?
