I'm posting here to find out if anyone has been debating buying the 2016-17 Rousch F-150 SC vs waiting for dealerships to get the next round of Raptors. I have a 2013 S'Crew with approx. 75K miles. I have been offered a generous amount to trade it in where I bought it now, but if I wait until June-August for the 18's less will be offered. Here's the problem, the dealer initially wanted several thousand over sticker, which seems to be the issue all over the place. I just wasn't in the mood to pay over sticker. My original build sheet put my '17 Raptor at 58K. But as most of you know units were limited and it comes down to supply and demand. I was however offered a great deal on a Lariat Rousch F-150. So have any of you thought going this route or are you steadfast for the Raptor? I'm leaning heavily towards the Rousch. Thoughts?

I would go the SC Rousch or you could always just supercharge your Raptor.

I am not a fan of the 3.5 liter ecoboost motor and lol at it being in a full size truck. It sounds like a v6 but I guess the power is enough. For me I have to have a v8 truck, the sound alone makes it worth it.

Good luck in your decision, but if it was me going to a 5 liter supercharged coyote motor with over 600 HP is a no brainier.

What are you going to use it for?

If it's more high speed off-road, then Raptor is the only way to go imo. Everything is set to do that. Of course, I'd still go with a gen1 though (which you already have :). I think the gen1 looks better and then there is that crappy v6 sound.

If it's more of a dd and limited true Raptor off-roading, the Rousch may be the way to go. Better looking truck and a supercharged v8.

75K is not much on our 6.2l so you could always just spend a little money on her and go that route.

GL in your decision.

Supercharge your '13!!

That's what I did with my 12. No regrets.

A Lariat is NOT a Raptor. After being used to a Raptor, unless you are totally street, it's going to be a letdown.

Supercharger your 13, if you haven't already.

Unless you are looking for a new truck in general. IMO any Roush vehicle is marked up and even with a discount you could do the same mods for less.

Between a Raptor and Roush, Raptor all day.

When you say that "a Lariat is not a Raptor" do you mean even after all the Rousch upgrades? It's gets the Fox 2.0 shocks and suspension and a supercharged 5.0 getting 600hp. What makes it that much different than the Raptor except for the built in off road truck settings?
