When I raced my 5.4 just a few weeks ago, I raced a chevy. Im not sure what engine but he beat me. Not by much though. i got 16.08, he got 15.90. I had him until 1/8 mile, then he inched past me.
Unless... do you subtract your reaction time??? because his time was .02 and mine was .45, if you take that off I would win.

Drag racing is almost like football in TX. I dont blame you bud. Just line em up when youre sober and see what happens. Just like fighting, you win some, you lose some.

Sounds like you were at a track? If so, they probably used a sportsman or full tree for ya (unless you told them to set it to pro), which also probably means your time started when you broke the beam, not when the light dropped.

In other words, unless you told the track staff different, your reaction time doesn't figure into your ET. Hope that helps.

PS: Got your slip still? Mind posting up the breakdown? Might be fun to see the 5.4s 60' time.

I barely race as it is (gas is expensive) but when I do, I would definately do it sober! No need to further endager others and I need my skills at peak performance.

I used to race Eagle Talons back in the day (my teenage years) and have never been smart enough to come up with a different online alias.

I do appreciate your pun though.

:peace:

Actually, I thought you were referencing your Raptor in your screen name. Claws sorta equal talons. Plus, a Raptor when defined as a bird of prey has talons. I think it works and you can leave those old days behind!

Have at you!

Here in eastern Ct I haven't seen any real off-road and probably wont until at least spring, I do enjoy using that gas pedal, but wouldn't be surprised to get smoked by another vehicle, Raptor's just not meant for it (haven't hit that 100mph limit yet either - rather not on the road)
