Is there any cutting to the grill required when putting the light in there
No sir you just remove the lower center grill plastic insert. No cutting required
It looks like you could make a cleaner lighter looking install if you were to cut the old insert to fit and reinstall. There is not enough room at the bottom so the whole bottom section would have to be cut off , leaving the top and three sides in place. Im going to make a plate to cover the bottom tabs and gap.
Will do ! Is level the best way to set these up? sure is wayyyyy bright in the first 6o feet.
I have the original silver powder coated mount and it looks perfect. Adding part of the original grill will look far worse than it currently does, IMO.
