Currently on the back end I have two S2 sport with wide cornering, not flush mounted. I plan to remove those and install a set of S1 flush mount with work/scene flood into the bumper. I already have three S2 Pro mounted in my GJ third brake light.

Interesting. You have me intrigued. Do the S2 Sport provide enough output? Based on your answer, it will sway me towards the S1 or the S2 Sport for a reverse light. I have no reverse light and I need one. :)

The S2 sport has enough out put for lighting up an area behind the vehicle. I just don’t like the way it looks, I have the flush mounts for the S2 and planned to do it about a month ago. Then I started looking at the S1 and I think the S1 will be a cleaner and easier install into the bumper as a flush mount when Baja Designs releases the option.

I’ll find somewhere else for the S2 sport.

Good points. I wonder if an amber work/ scene lens will come available at some point for the S1. I am thinking picking up a pair is a no brainer at this point. Was thinking of mounting them like this.....

These are the mounts:

I like the S2. Nice and low profile. The S1 would look good too.

That is a lot of light aimed backward. Sounds really cool. What do you use all that light for?

Well, I had the S2 sports mounted first, decided within a week I would rather have the flush mount, even bought the trim pieces and hardware to do the flush mount. Once I received the trim pieces there aren’t to many places to mount them flat into the rear bumper, and the few places you can appear to tilt the lights down too much. Once you cut a hole there is no going back. While I was thinking about it I bought the SPP triple fog light bracket so I could adjust the lights better on the front. I never liked how the inside mounted lights were partially hidden behind the bumper opening. Once I had the new brackets installed I realized I could actually have a third squadron mounted in the front. So now I had a set of S2 pro lights sitting on the tool box, staring at me when I went into the garage. I had read about the GJ light on the forum and it didn’t take me long to talk myself into thinking the factory light was ugly AF so I ordered it with a S2 pro cargo work light for the center and installed the S2 pro from the front bumper into the GJ light. Looks a lot better with the white paint to have the black framed light at the top of the cab. I only have any of my rear facing lights (not counting the S2 pro cargo flood) come on with a switch, I never hooked them into the reverse so I’m not blinding people backing out of parking spots.

I plan to remove the bumper mounted lights and just not put anything down low and see how I like it.

Then I’ll only have a set of S2 sport staring at me.

Maybe BD can chime in, or a vendor, as to the release date? I am assuming after SEMA. Price is something I am curious about as well and hopefully it will be offered in an all spot optic. I am open to PM’s

Can’t stop thinking about these. Super excited. (Will fordraptorlights.com have the entire initial stock....? :D).

We did NOT buy the entire first production run of the LP4’s. We just picked up the entire run of the S1’s.
