So after contemplating it for weeks.. I decided tonight, hey.. im gonna wrap my truck! So then it came down to prices, colors, DIY or professional... Well i ended up order Matte Army Green wrap.. from china! Its no 3m or avery, but it was 185 bucks for 5ft x 93ft.. YA CANT BEAT THAT. Decided ill be doing it myself, something for the weekends. Pictures, posts, and updates to come.

Start saving your patience now. I am doing one panel at a time and I'd say they take 2-3 hours each MINIMUM. My OCD could be a factor in that. Hopefully it's good quality as some areas do need stretched a bit. Check out the sticky for the DIY vinyl as it has a lot of good info and tools that you'll need.

Oh my ADD wouldn't allow for that.

It looks awesome though! Can't wait to see some pics when its all done.

The best advice I can give is don't over stretch it. It will alter the color. In some areas it'll stick fine but others not so much when stretched out. If you tear it you'll have a hard time making it right and will probably have to redo the whole piece.

Make sure your panels are extremely clean. Any speck of dust will show.

I ordered from metrorestyling.com but that was 3M 1080. Supplies for me were around $700. I bought an application kit that had a heat gun, squeegees, primer, sealer, x acto knife, and a few other things for $110 I believe, also from them.
