How do we find out where the railhead is in our region? I guess the obvious answer is to ask the dealer. But is there any other way to find out?

I can try to narrow it down based on my knowledge of norfolk southern and union pacific railroad systems.. Just need to know location where your dealership is located.. I should be able to figure it out.

Thank you sir. I'm in south Louisiana. The dealer is near New Orleans.

Here is the information I have..

The ramp is located at:
3400 Almonaster Ave
New Orleans, LA 70126

Hours of operation:
Monday-Saturday
6am-6pm
(the reason is the facility is not equiped for unloading at night, due to lack of facility lighting)

Facility holds 2100 vehicles
And is able to unload 25 railcars at a time.

The haulaway carrier is Allied systems.

Railroad: Norfolk Southern

This ramp would be serviced by the Kansas city mixing center.

The route would be ford plant to kansas city mixing center, then to new orleans. My experience with this ramp of ford product is about 10 railcars a week so kansas city mix waits about 5-7 days prior to shipping railcars to ramp. (hope that makes sense)
