ICOM comes with two fuses. All done. Gonna remove the stock bracket it comes with and use an L bracket for each screw. That way the radio will be closer to the center council. But here it is for now! Wires are hidden everywhere. Just gotta learn how to use the damn thing

Anyone know if these icom F5020 radios have to be programmed by a dealer or something. Turned mine on and no signal bars. New to this radio stuff

Yea theres power and flip through channels. Just don't see signal bars. Bought it from outlaw raptor. Says outlaw on start up. Computer? Hooked up to power and antenna on roof

the computer set's the channels the only thing you would need the computer for. If you have channels set up you should be good. these are 2 ways so I'm not sure they have a signal bar but I'm new to this also.

I will go look I picked up 2 more today in sioux falls. The wife and I ate at Texas Roadhouse that was a good Ribeye.

Hmmm. So same thing as me. I will call outlaw tomorrow and ask what's up and see what's going on. Ribeye steak huh. Just bbq'd one up too with some homemade french fries lol

sory I get thinking of other thing's I'm talking 2 way's I don't think have signal bars. I have a vertex but it look's the same as your Icom ? I hope mine works will get the other two hooked up to the tractor and semi see If I can communicate.

I think the new icoms comes set with the channels without having to update it with the computer. Not sure if its the same as vertex. Will know for sure tomorrow

Icom radios have to be programmed. Outlaw buys them from PCI Racing radios so come with a couple channels used by outlaw. If you want more programmed I can load it up. I carry my Icom programming kit with me so if your on a run I am on I can setup the radios to whatever channel the group uses. I can also change the boot screen from outlaw to your last name or first name. even your screen name...
