First thing I would do is change my password and see if that helps. You could also change your user name. Also not sure about the rest of you but I don't even have that app running in the background of my phone unless I want to randomly check on my vehicle, otherwise it is typically closed. This is definitely a scam in an attempt to steal your vehicle or even other personal information.

I think you are ok, 2018’s don’t have Sync Connect, so there is no way for them to get in. 2019’s have a Mobile hotspot and can be accessed from anywhere. At least that is how I understand it.

I had one shortly after getting my 2019. The persons last name was the same as my first name so I just assumed it was a dealer screw up (it was them who set my account up initially). I declined and never had another request. Worth a call to the dealer in case someone there is doing something screwy?

Yes they do, they just don't have the wifi hotspot but they do have an active data connection. I can start, lock or unlock my vehicle from anywhere using my phone. And no my truck doesn't have to be at home connected to my wifi. Anywhere there's ATT coverage it works.

I'd almost guess the guy is trying to get into your truck and hopes you'll accidentally hit accept one day.

Just a thought here... I got some notifications about getting amazon shipments delivered to my truck. Maybe somebody just fat fingered your VIN and that’s a delivery driver. I have no idea about what access you grant amazon etc. but that could be something to look into. Now, will all that being said... I more or less work in IT and security and we are extremely diligent with our security posture in my household. However we did get compromised from a MITM attack. Long story short... our Amazon was hacked and everything was being blocked by AMEX. So I’d totally look into Amazon if you have it. Then change your passwords on everything with 2 factor authentication.
