GEN 2 Using dashcam to monitor bed when tailgate down

I’m waiting for Black Friday sales to get a dashcam I’m going to put on the rear window to monitor stuff that could fly out the bed. Particularly long heavy stuff like the metal I hauled with the tailgate down. I need something that connects real time to my iPhone. My other requirement is that it’s resolution is good enough to read licenses plates. Plus if it has two cameras one for the front windshield and one for the rear windshield. Any suggestions?

Black vue and if you want the best one, get the latest version that updates to the cloud. Robbers are stealing dashcams now and the data is stored within the camera.

Not sure that's going to work to well. Are you going to have a passenger their to monitor the rear cam? I mean, you can't drive and watch the cam at the same time, and no dashcam is going to alert you when something's happening back there. What exactly will the cam accomplish? Is the plan to go back and review the footage so you can see how something came loose, or about where to go back and pick up your lost cargo?

My phone is on an arm. Sits up high. Not much different then looking at the rear view mirror.
