Found this while out for a bike ride this morning. Good to see the value is still good on a used truck. 15000 miles, nav, orange accent interior.

The question remains, how long will it take to sell? I found mine at a dealer in Ohio from the original dealer with 2k miles. Black SCAB,lux pkg.etc.,40K OTD. Took me some searching but deals are out there.

Loaded & probably barely broken in - minus the depreciation. Nice find. Reasonable deals are out there for someone who wants one bad enough. Those who have the will can find a way!

I recently found a well beat 2010 Black Scab at a mercedes dealer for 39888 :disgust:

It had 42k miles on it too..

Not sure that will sell for that much.

I dont understand this. I see it on Ebay too. What is the biggest reason people get rid of these so early? Is it gas milege? I am still pretty ignorant about them since my '13 is on order and I dont technically own one yet.

Some people buy new trucks every year or so. I have friends who do this. Money is no object. Just want the newest. Talked to the salesman on this truck. The person traded it in on a f 350. Maybe needed more towing, don't know. But this truck is really nice. Clean, low mileage. The salesman said they probably will not come off the asking price because these trucks are hard to come by. But he did say that there is a limited market for these trucks. Which is one reason I have mine. Don't see a lot on the road. Same way when I had my lightning. Just did not see many. That's what I love about svt. Jack

Like the op saw this one at a mercedes dealer. The gentleman that owned mine purchased specifically to move plants and tow a small trailer. It was garaged the one winter it saw. (or didn't see) It had just over 2k miles. His wife wanted an Audi,or beemer I cant recall, but it was a car they had at the original selling dealer,"A Ford dealer that he had a long relationship" and he traded it in to appease his wife. I was able to talk to the owner and make sure this wasn't a beater and just kind of get a feel what this guy is like. Not that I don't trust what dealers say. lol.....I don't. I also wanted to be sure this wasn't a smoking vehicle. Hey the dealer was great. They arranged the phone call, the owner was a great older guy,the truck was as advertised. They even turned me onto a local freight company they used and it saved me a couple hundred bucks. If I was in Ohio I'd recommend their sales department highly. Patience, and being on the ads constantly. Great deals don't last, and are legit one's are hard to find.

Most buyers use them as pavement trophy's. Get tired of climbing in and out and the gas bill pushes them out of love. Not that they were ever in love. It is in my opinion that a lot of folks with a good deal of money,"And some not a great deal of money",get the thrill juices going, hype up and have a bit of ego too. They do the impulse purchase and once they have it realize the product was a great idea but not all that and a bag of chips. That is my kind of person. The one's that take the new car purchase hit for me. Instant savings of several K. Thank you very much!

took the words right out of my mouth..this was a similar case when i got my truck. Took alot of searching..I found one in California, a 2011 scab, molten orange w/30k mi, yea seems high but it was $42k fully loaded without the nav. First owner traded it in for a "family" suv and a lower payment. I just love the resale value you dont see them alot on the roads
