"you're running 40s, why do you want to run 4.56?"

-- "Because my truck has plenty of horsepowers, I wanna go fast, I want to keep my top speed where it is, I'll break less stuff, and 4.56s are stronger than 5.13s by a lot."

" how damn fast can you possibly go on 40 inch tires, bubba?"

--" hundred and ten, might be able to get up to 120 with a little work."

"boy, you crazy."

--" hold my beer".

i went round and round about 4.56 vs 4.88. But we are moving to DC soon and 4.88 will be fun in bumper to bumper traffic... now where did i put that whipple 2.9L, oh thats right its still in the shopping cart. hahah

Tires are mounted, fenders installed and wheels put on the truck. Have to say if anyone is thinking about running 39s I highly recommend it. The look is perfect. Tires are seemingly the perfect size for the big super crew especially with the wider fenders. Lots of trimming needed but just in love with how it’s turning out so far.

Starting with the front. Had to shave off some of the new advanced fiberglass fenders here’s a little before and after. Still need to relocate the windshield fluid tank.
