Although I agree that Dealerships are a huge part of the problem (they almost never tell you the truth) Ford accepted the order. It's in their system. If your dealer tells you that they have an allocation for you (mine did) and they in fact, don't, Ford should not accept the order. FP should show that your order was not allocated, otherwise it's dishonesty on their (Ford) part. "Unscheduled" would lead any rational person to believe that the order was accepted and scheduling is an inevitability at some point. Simple. So in regards to getting it quickly, that's not the issue. The issue is that there are two Thursdays left before the MY 22 order banks opening on September 15th. I don't see them scheduling all of the unscheduled before then.

If your dealer does not have an allocation it way stay unscheduled "clean" in the ford system. It has happened to myself and at least one other on here that I know of. I don't look at this as being Ford's fault, but everyone has their own opinion. In my case the dealership called me and told me about two weeks after I ordered the truck, I know another dealer only told their customer after the customer kept asking what the deal was. I'd put this 100% on the dealerships.

I still don’t have a build either, June 17 order. They have right under 4 weeks still to get these scheduled for 2021 builds, but yes they have to crank them out to meet the orders placed for sure. We just have to breathe for a minute and we can always (probably will) change the order Sept 15 to a 2022 if we want. And last but not least I am thankful to have these first world problems.

To echo what some other guys have said, I originally placed an order with a dealer that in fact did not have an allocation. When I check with FP regarding that order code, they tell me they have no record of the order, even though I have an order sheet from the dealer. So this makes me think that if your dealer doesn’t have an allocation, then Ford doesn’t even accept the order.

Place for us to cry our liberal …ahem *unscheduled raptor tears. According to LPZML’s poll this should cover about 50% of us.

Ordered 7/7 still unscheduled as of today.

Let’s go!!!
I ordered 6/18. Still not scheduled. Just removed the Start/Stop option yesterday as recommended from a friend of mine that works at Ford. Let's see if now I get scheduled.

Sounds like your dealer never submitted the order. Not having an allocation doesn’t keep a dealer from sending ford the order. But without an allocation ford will not schedule it.

Like I said before, I had a dealership submit an order, I verified it with FP as unscheduled clean, then 2 weeks later got a call from the dealership saying that sorry they had to cancel the order as they didn’t have an allocation. There is another member on this forum that had the same thing happen.

I hope this isn’t the case for anyone here, I just want you all to know that just because you are unscheduled clean doesn’t mean that you are going to get a 2021.

I tend to agree. How can I sell you something I don’t have? I can make promises that I do just to take your money/deposit to keep you on the hook but really…whose fooling who?

Not trying to win any hearts and minds with my position, I'm just saying that we all know dealers lie, but why can't Ford be more forthcoming? If a dealer puts through an unallocated order, why does Ford allow you to think it's legit? If I order anything else online I'm either told right away that the item is out of stock or a short time later that it's on back-order. I've never been told that my order was accepted and that it is unscheduled clean. Like I said before, unscheduled leads one to believe that it will eventually be scheduled. Ford knows what's going on. Imho, Ford, a billion dollar company, with plenty of faithful followers, can and should do better for them. Like Wweaver said, first world problem, but the whole purpose of this particular thread is to commiserate about being unscheduled.

I just got my VIN today on 1 of my 2 orders(the one I don't want). I ordered a 37 Package & a standard as the Ford Rep for the dealer said it would ensure I'd get a Raptor because they didn't know how limited at the time the 37s were going to be.

In order sequence my 37 package has the earlier order number, but still no VIN for that one yet.

At this point I'm not certain what I will do. I really don't want to settle, but I could always just sell the 35s and put 37s on immediately. My est build date is 9/20 I think they said on the standard one. I'll probably hold out until then and hope I get my VIN on my 37 package so they can get the 35 as dealer stock.

:/
