Yamashield rust & corrosion inhibitor > boeshield for bare AL parts & more sensitive plastics/rubber components. How do I know? Says so on the can lol!
Yamashield on the A-arms/shocks/engine/engine bay- Amsoil HDMP on everything else underneath. If you have any surface rust to begin w/ or don’t have a good factory spray coat on the rear duff/axles I’d scuff & spray em w/ rustoleum first (that’s what I did).
FWIW I used 5 full cans initially of the Amsoil for a first application & I went to town- 2 heavy coats including inside the frame rails. Before winter I will use another 2 cans. Then I think following up yearly w/ 1-2 cans touching up is all that’s needed- every other year maybe just depends on climate/usage/mileage
Honestly if I lived in the Southwest an initial coating like I did is probably “semi-permanent”
