awesome. did you just create it yourself or did you just buy a "kit" from somewhere?

Rpg had installed it for me when rear was being worked on. Definitely worth getting if in dirt a lot. Its silent too. You don't hear it when u get on the gas

I don't see the UMP on RPG's website. Did they have a bolt in kit or is it a diy install from a basic UMP intake?

UMP (Unique Metal Products) Intake Air Filter

Was looking to see what happened with the UMP Air intake system?

I searched around and saw some old posts with stuff saying RPG was going to come out with it but seems like there is nothing out there about it.

Anyone here shed some light on if this item is still obtainable?

Most likely however unless you live in a desert it's not worth it.

I had one and sold it. It worked flawlessly but just wasn't worth the high cost. There was no gain in performance just filtering

I know they're very hard to come by. Maybe call UMP directly.

SVC and I reccomend sticking with the OEM setup and dropping in a high quality drop in filter. The UMP filters systems are great, but they are expensive, and have no performance gains (actually prolly less).

But if your looking for the best filtration system you can get then UMP is prolly your best bet.

Thanks for the reply Huck

After 4 years of letting my dodge live in Baja using K&N and S&B style air filter, when I popped the head to replace head gasket, added 50 HP inspectors and head studs the cylinder walls looked like they were sand blasted from all the silt and dirt the truck had inhaled. The engine builder actually recommended the UMP for what I do.

I would rather not have performance yet increase reliability/longevity of the parts. I live in Southern California plenty of desert and Baja is only 2 hours away :)
