GP1152 we have noticed people parking next to us in no mans land all the time. Since we don't take up two spots like the cali peoples seem to like to do, we figure that they just want to check out the beast. It would be ****** to get all pissed off at someone admiring your truck.

Well, the Raptor fits perfectly fine in this "Small Car parking." It barely fits in a normal space, though....

.....my preferred strategy. Passenger door-to-passenger door. Reduced chances of door *********.

lol...agreed.
Not sure about other parts of CA, but here (Bay Area) you really don't see too many people ever taking up 2 spots since it appears they really don't give a crap about their cars. Maybe southern CA? And as I mentioned before, I'll take 2 only if the spots are really small (and can't find an end spot) and I end up parking far away.

I just dont worry about it....tires are gonna throw rocks up and chip your paint, cars are gonna ding doors, and eventually, hail storms happen. In the old days, door dings were hard to fix, now a days, its no big deal.

That said, I try to park in an end spot where at least one side is protected. Truck fits in parking spots, and the running boards have probably caused tons of damage to other ********* doors, so karma served, and DSTSS

... dont sweat the small stuff

Who else takes up the most part of two parking spots almost everywhere they go? It's funny, when I first got my Mustang I'd park it in the south forty and take up two parking spots (just because, heh, this is my new mustang.) Occasionally I'd get some A-hole who would park close to me on purpose, sort of to say "**** you" for taking two parking spots. Not so with the Raptor. I think most ppl look at it and say "That's a huge truck! He can take two parking spots"

I park my Raptor evey day at work, too. God gave me legs, two of them in fact, and as I don't use them as much as I might I park the beast as far away from the entrance to the building as is possible where no one else parks. Sometimes it's raining, but God also gave me a waterproof skin. (That's rather amazing when you think about it.) Sometimes it's a cold walk, but since I work I can afford a jacket. So far I've got no door dings on my Raptor, and I always park between the lines.
