Yeah I'm about 10K in myself....but I need these to go with with a 6 speaker front stage, another amp which if I match my SA SALT 200.4 it's not cheap and then to install and tune my Dayton408 as I want to go active. It never stops. lol

Never does , I’m running active , but only 2 way fronts , and subs , 5 channel amp

I'll be 6 front stage, 2 midbase in rear and four 8's on three amps and a dsp....oneday.

Why not surface mount them to the plastic shrouds on the inside of the front doors where the sideview mirrors are?

Those would need to be custom as well , the tweeters I’m using r 1.5 inches , kinda big .

why not just mount behind the pillar like you are supposed too?

they are too big. the oem can fit 1in tweeters but to fit a 1.5 is a completely different project. plus to have the speakers more on axis, will give better sq abilities. not quite directly on axis, but a bit more than what oem placement will do

me 2 , sound good stereo makes those , I may do those but with only the tweeter . Or I may buy the mids and do a 3 way , and another amp

Passenger side installed , pro go with this for a bit then custom a pillars in the spring
