You could always just buy the tool to reset the TPMS to where you want it. They are only $15, and it is really not that hard, however, I lean to following design specs.



Did you actually do it?

I don't think the stock tpms stems are adjustable. Ford would be opened up to legal stuff, when roll your truck.

Negative. You can't adjust pressure specs. I have a TPMS tool.

All it allows for is sensor relearns. No re-calibration of any sort.

Easiest way to run low and have no warning is to remove them and make a pressurized pipe. Put those in the pressurized pipe and your good to go.

From what I have read in the service manual The body control module needs to see the sensor rotate. SO adding it to a pressurized pipe will work in the pipe is rotating also

Hmm, is this true for the 2010's also? I remember a member doing this and having success, but maybe I'm mistaken.

I do not have the DVD for the 2012's so I really cant answer that. The 12's update every x amount of rotation

So, Ive been trying to brainstorm some ideas on how to get this to work.
a small tube mounted in the bed with a small 12dc motor that spins it when you flip a switch
Thought about a small bike tire attached to teh bumper that moves with the truck.
or 2 small tubes clamped 180 of each other to the driveshaft.
or a after market driveshaft with a chamber in it you could fill.


any other ideas???

seems like a lot of work just to stop the warning light. My 12 was at 30psi the whole snoball and it never bothered me

That was me and no, it didn't work. Even though my canister was set at the correct pressure, the light would still come on.
