Honestly, I think “dark mode” would be a totally awesome (albeit not-often used) feature.

It would allow you to keep from burning your night vision entering/exiting the vehicle in the wilderness. Also, provides a great level of stealth for when I don’t want my wife to know I’m making a midnight run to Starbucks.

Had my dealer do a "Police Dark" as they called it, for my 2012 F350 for night hunting with NODs. Well worth the $109.....The OP is either a troll, or has a short circuit in his helmet.

I have to pay another $109 to have it function as many other cars. Oh well, where did you have yours installed? Is it covered by warranty? I am sure to dump it once the warranty is over.

And tell me why you would want to meet me in person.
The kid has 41 posts here in 2 1/2 years. 95% of which are ridiculous complaints and making a fool of him/her self. He/she adds zero value to this forum and calls people out just to talk trash. Hopefully the mods just close the thread and remove OP, who is clearly here just to start trouble.

It's done at the dealer. It's used by police and game wardens, but it's not exclusive for them. anybody can have it done.

I've had my old G1 for almost 10 years but haven't messed with forscan for anything, is it possible to transition back and force from police/dark mode to the traditional settings or do you have to reflash/scan the thing each time you'd want to switch? how does this work. Fellow night owl intensifier tube nerd needs to know.
