Since it's VTA, it will definitely be louder than OEM.

You are right. I watch a few videos last night and looked closely at the valve and it vents to atmosphere.

But I do see one potential problem. The oem valve mounts parallel to the ic. This one mounts straight out from the ic. It is hard to tell from the pics how big it is. Could there be a potential clearance issue?

Also the oem one is secured by a bolt. Is this one secured by a bolt? If not, Can’t it just fly off under boost?

I’m sure it will matter depending on what IC you have. It’ll work on my ADD front mount IC, there’s more than enough room. I can’t speak for other ICs though.

I think I recall it being secured similar to stock, because it twists in & they have to have something to keep it from backing out. I’ll wait to see real world use feedback before I get it. The stocker vented gives me the achuuu I want anyway.

Edit: ^^ They verified the bracket/bolt up above, so we golden so far.

In stock form? Probably nothing.

Depending on construction is should be able to hold more boost with a tune
