Trying to get a feel for how many of us are still waiting on 2021 trucks that are built. If so please post production date and eta from tracker.

Incase they tell you ford has them on back order .
Are these definitely the correct rivets for our Raptors? If so, how many do we need? My salesperson told me some BS (shocking) about not being able to order recall parts until a sale has been made. I’d like to preemptively order these in case my truck needs them. It’s been sitting in the rail yard for 8 days now and another wait for parts to fulfill recall requirements is gonna test my patience on a whole new level.

Mine finally changed to shipped last night, 4-5 days after the dealer told me it left “Ramp 51” and was on the way. Still showing 2/3 for delivery.

My dealer who I trust told me the same. That’s why I signed a bill of sale before the truck even showed up so they can order the parts needed first

Lol I dont buy those kind of cars (camry) but I try to be as smart with my money on autos as I can because I move in and out of them a lot. I have a 2022 Shelby, 2022 Taycan Turbo S in paint to sample Voodoo Blue and a 2022 F8 coming in as we speak. These used prices wont last 5 years but I agree certian specs may hold up value better but this is a very weird market for sure and not sustainable especially as interest rates move up. I sold my 2019 Truck I paid 69 for For 76 last month which is INSANE IMO. However my Shelby is near 150K and Im guessing it will be worth 80% of that in 1-2 years when I sell it. Ive also had multiple offifers for 280 for my 2021 992 TurBo S Cabriolet that I paid 245 for last march And I may very well pull the trigger as production ramps up there are just more used cars available and prices move down.

From my understanding these are what they are using . My dealer won’t even let me sign papers or even test drive it until it’s fixed . Frustrating but I guess better than burnt heatshield on your driveshaft or worse lol

I would be SOOO pissed If I was getting a 2021 in Jan/Feb of 2022 as your car is effectively a year old. if you are asking why. What is the value of a 2021 Raptor delivered in January of 2021 and driven for 1 year with low milage versus a 2021 delivered in Jan of 2022 with low milage. There is NO difference at all since there is no way to discern the two trucks in the resale market as valuation are almost entirely based on MY , then on milage, then on colors, then on options. Now take the 2022 that is delivered say in February of 2022 - the value will be 10-15% higher than the 2021 delivered a month earlier. I think the only way out of this is for those owners to either (a) accept they got screwed and suck up the loss or (b) sell the truck immediately since we are seeing unprecedented values on used cars that will certainly not hold past the next 12-18 months so you can probably still come out ahead for the time being.
I don't think so... check a 2019 and 2020 with the same mileage and build. They are only ~4% apart.
Add the delays and supply chain issues, this will be the case for way more than 18 months. Maybe you see a 5%+ difference in 3-4 years.
I didn't get screwed. I knew I would be getting the truck in late 2021. A few months more won't impact the value in the least, and I will not sell the truck to take advantage of the market. I like the truck and can't get it in the color I want now, which is LFG. To each their own.

Finally. Arrived Saturday to dealer. (9/30 blend) Waiting on the recall parts but at least it is here. Hopefully delivery this week. At least I was able to see it and confirm I ordered a real truck and this wasn’t all just a scam, which is what it has mostly felt like.

Well…. Build date 12/8 and shipped before Christmas with eta 12/29. Jan 3 status moved back to waiting to ship. Jan 10 it went back to ship with eta 2/5. Speaking with FP the last time it was scanned was in New Boston, MI On Jan 14. Does that mean I still on the rail car heading south where is it stop in transit waiting tome to be picked up another train? The tracker has been a waist looking at.

Since your truck is going to Florida (based on the location in your profile) it’s going to be interchanged a few times on connecting railways before it gets to Florida.
