Thanks for confirming the lack of low end torque. I will save this chart for future reference so the one I posted was questioned earlier.

I did respond to you last time. I noted that the Ecoboost horsepower really falls off at higher RPM. They just don't like to rev.
It’s the turbos mostly.

I would not be worried about a Whipple supercharged Coyote. As long as the OPGs and CS are done you are good to go.

Been driving a Whipple supercharged 6.2 for the last 5 years. Haven't needed a warranty.

Thousands upon thousands of these things out there.

Thousands upon thousands of tuned twin turbos.
One cost $500 the other costs $4k. And your in a Gen1 I'm assuming. Gen2 is a much better truck.

Cool. A local guy. Is that CW's truck?
No, he never had more than stock turbos. Overheated engine somehow.

Pistons annealed as indicated here and by the lab results. I’d say it wasn’t running properly and something was off with fueling.

CW isn’t local to me, NJ turnpike. Not texas a1f0422fd1a25a26afc59afdaf6c07d5.jpg

As if the fact that you “aren’t worried about it” should put everyone’s mind at ease. As if you’re an expert, engineer, tuner, or the company providing the warranty.

Do you even realize how ridiculous you sound?

Ford's marketing department really snookered guys like you by pushing the "peak torque at lower RPM" bit, which is true. But that's not the same thing as more low end torque. The graphs speak for themselves. It's no surprise to those of us with a grasp of basic automotive knowledge. Larger cylinders firing more frequently make more power than smaller cylinders firing less frequently. Sure, once the turbos spool, the Ecoboost has pretty good mid range torque but every time you let off the gas you have to wait for those turbos to spool again. Throttle modulation is important off road.
Not arguing.

But have you seen the 3.0 from the ST? Make 600/600 at tire with a factory stroked 2.7l

Impressive tune only I’d imagine anyone would agree
